I’m Linus Tan, a game developer based in Singapore; I’ve has been coding since 1996. I enjoy software development greatly, and constantly seek to improve my craft. My pet peeves include proprietary standards, poorly designed software and computers without enough RAM.
Hobbies: Games, Reading, Music
Inspired by: Real-world and biological systems, Jostein Gaarder’s works, Kim Stanley Robinson’s works
Philosophy: I enjoy both the high and low level aspects of software creation; both the design and coding of it. I believe that without a simple, clean and efficient implementation, a well thought-out software architecture will be useless. I also feel that, in a team, all members should contribute to the best of their ability to the overall design of the software.
